Hot Natured & Ali Love - Benediction [edited for Soundcloud] Release date 29/10/2012 Hot Creations Hot Natured are set to release one of the most hotly anticipated singles of the year, ‘Benediction’ on 29th October through Hot Creations. Hot Natured’s last single ‘Forward Motion’ was the seductive summer anthem of 2011. Since then the founding members of Hot Natured, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, have been joined by Ali Love and Luca C (from the duo Infinity Ink). The quartet have been locked away in writing sessions in Los Angeles, London and Ibiza, with an album planned for spring 2013. ‘Benediction’ is the first track to emerge from this album but the seeds were sown almost 10 year ago when Ali first created the main chords and concept. Today that idea has germinated into Hot Natured’s lead single. It features vocalist Ali Love’s trademark smooth and infectious tones, driven by melodic keys and that trademark deep, haunting bounce. ‘Benediction’ showcases Hot Natured’s collective songwriting and top-of-their-game production skills to full, potent effect. First heard on Jamie and Seth Troxler’s recent takeover for Pete Tong on Radio 1 and played at Hot Creations’ night Paradise at DC10 in Ibiza all summer, ‘Benediction’ is an irresistible and infectious crossover hit. Kill Frenzy

Kill Frenzy debuted on dirtybird with the label anthem of last year "Make that Booty Clap featuring DJ Funk". To have a track that gets played by everyone all the way from Soul Clap to Skrillex shows Kill Frenzy's ability to bridge the gap between genres, cliques and crews around the world. This new EP pushes even further into that original sound. To be able to combine footwork, breaks, techno & dubstep and make it all playable in house DJ sets is a big achievement and Kill Frenzy seems to have claimed this new genre all for himself. We have to give credit to co-producer of "Go To The Mo" dirtybird's long time friend Sacha Robotti working with KF on the A side, but there is no denying this new talent from Belgium and we are really excited to have Kill Frenzy be a part of dirtybird. It also makes me happy that after 8 years some of that San Francisco dirt is breaking through to places like Belgium other countries in Europe outside of the UK. If you’re talking about exciting underground producers, two of the first names out of anyone’s hat should always be Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan (aka Pig & Dan), whose distinctive mixture of influences has given them a sound that is both innovative and easily recognizable, since they first joined forces back in 1999. Right now, it seems like there’s a non-stop flow of success in the air around these two musical madmen. Their last Bedrock release (“Machines”) in April 2012 was a Beatport Top 5 smash and now “Emotions”/”Let The Show Begin” raises the bar even higher. From the twisted vocalized intro to the deep, deep bass and subtle synth hooks and drops, “Emotions” is, quite simply, a soulful electronic masterpiece. Whilst “Let The Show Begin”, with its quirky nod to Mr. Mojo Risin’, displays a more direct and intense percussive edge to the powerhouse Pig & Dan arsenal. Once again, it’s hats off to Bedrock for raising the bar even higher with each release. In this day and age to not only survive as an independent label, but also to flourish and constantly evolve by introducing new talent and pushing established artists to their creative best, is something that should be applauded. Believe it or not this is Tom Flynn's third EP on dirtybird and he has come a long way as an artist since his first record with us. I think this is Tom's most thoughtful work to date. "Be Yourself" is immaculate club music with great sounds and great arrangement. This track has done wonders for me in the club all summer, but the B side is one of the most surprising tracks of the year. "With Flowers" starts out deep and unassuming, then slowly builds and builds and builds AND BUILDS into one of the most massive euphoric resolutions I have heard in awhile. Dennis White aka ThermalBear was chosen by Sasha as someone who stood out from the crowd with his classical take on modern electronic dance music. His single 'U Love' featuring vocals from Maiday is an expertly crafted piece of electronic brilliance. The track, with its cleverly programmed drums and haunting synths, captures the listener and is sure to be one of those tracks that plays over and over in your head.
