The Supermen Lovers
Foundation Disco EP by The Supermen Lovers
Back to the basic with the new The Supermen Lovers jam - the Foundation Disco EP.
Funk is not dead: it's alive, kicking and trying to fuck 20-years old girls in the toilet while listening to the first track, "Keep the funk alive", a synth-driven retro-futuriste gem featuring former Chic singer Norma Jean Wright at the vocals.
"Eagle Shadow", the second track, unleashes a smokey, narcotic-ish, hypnotic groove; it's so hypnotic that we're pretty much sure that track will be banned in many countries soon.
On remix duties, In Flagranti (with their unmistakable drum-driven, heroin sounding discoid touch), Cityzen (from The Aikiu crew, delivering us the freshest track ever) and Chloé (who delivers a remix which's halfway between l'amour and la violence.).
The Foundation Disco EP has already been loved and supported by Aeroplane, Thomas Von Party, Villa, diskJokke, Zombie Nation / ZZT, Arnaud Rebotini, Reverso 68 / LSB,Reset!, The Finger Prince / Bang Gang DJs,Xinobi / Discotexas, Zombie Nation / ZZT, Boris Dlugosch, The Aston Shuffle, Graeme Park, Arveene, Hey Today! and many others.
