Noir is not only a great Danish producer & DJ but an excellent A&R of his own label Noir Music. He has discovered some of the hottest deep & tech house artists of the latest years like Hot Since 82, Finnebassen and Larse. But he's not in Suara for showing us his A&R skills but for launching a new project, Innakat: the techno / club-oriented face of Noir. "Grab Somebody" is a hot piece of groovy tech, a dancefloor bomb that Coyu has played in all his sets for months. On the remix duties we have one of our fav cats, the Catalan maestro Dosem, who brilliantly turns the original track in a futuristic techno journey. Artwork by GaAs. First up is his reworking of one of the biggest Ibiza bombs of recent memory, Intruder’s unifying ‘Amame’. Stripping things back to a bare hypnotic groove Noir allows the unmistakable vocal of Jei to float silkily over the raw percussion and twisted stabs of synth, creating a darkly persuasive record perfect for those deeper moments. Noir then heads further back in time, plucking Jason Jinx’s seminal ‘Your First Time’ from his dusty shelves and smartening it up for today’s dancefloors. Heavily beefed up drums and skittering hats add a distinct new dimension as Noir preserves the driving bass and sultry vocal. For lovers of the original record, this version offers the perfect update while simultaneously introducing it to new fans across the world.
