Isaac Tichauer
ntroducing Isaac Tichauer, our latest sword out in Sydney, Australia.
Over the past 6 months, he's prepared for you his first ever original offering, Devotion.
It contains 9 tracks (1 hour & 13 seconds worth of listening) of ethereal, metaphysical, futuristic, classic, atmospheric, tribal & tropical house music.
The crusade against terrifyingly bad music knows no boundaries, even money itself, and will continue like so until our way reaches the four corners of the Earth.
Devotion, being our first full-length, aptly sums up who we are & where we are headed. That is why we've avoided pricing it -- to have nothing hold back its flight.
Much admiration and respect for Isaac as he completes his ground shaking debut with your first listen; Devotion makes a bold statement and we're proud to relay it.

D.I.M.
D.I.M. – Living In Advance
Our much lauded D.I.M. has vanished into thin air for a while only to get back with some hotter stuff incl. 4 new tracks.
'GO!' opens this EP with a seductive imperative in form of a bouncing bassline and some high-pitched frequency in remembrance of Sydney's traffic lights.
'Mariachi' the 2nd track is all about the typical elements and sounds which makes D.I.M. so damn well known for.
On the flip 'Dragon' follows as an dubbier, harder edged, straight-up house track with an undeniable old-skool vibe. A howling warm synth which can't decide if it's acid or not and a grooving rhythm - With just one listen you’ll be hooked!
'Eternal' the last track of the Vinyl EP is the perfect tune for the late-night dancefloor; vibey, full of emotions and impressively deep. Again, a superb production with a revealing side of D.I.M. no one would expect.
Coming as a Digital Bonus Track 'Loaded' completes the EP and is a worthy addition to the D.I.M. track repertoire.

Leon & Pirupa
Leon & Pirupa came to us with a couple demo tracks a while back, and as soon as we heard them, we knew we had to share it! So, without further delay, here is Leon & Pirupa - Bassline EP!
'Bassline' is exactly what it sounds like, plenty of thick bass sprinkled with hi hats and familiar sounding chimes! High in energy and ready to heat up the dancefloor!
A ghetto beat and fuzzy vocal samples mark the intro of 'White Off'. The track progresses into a dancefloor killer, with vocal cuts and synth breaks.

Sound Pellegrino’s Crossover Series, our special line of EPs dedicated to pairing producers from different scenes together on a musical project, has always been about highlighting bonds between styles that might not appear at first listen but that connect musical movements on the big web of the House Nation. For this third installment we asked ourselves what would be the common core that tied together our dear French touch (and its modern incarnations) with UK vibes of Garage-ian descent
we’ve been obsessed with since the beginning of Sound Pellegrino. The answer lied in the depths of New Jersey, where house mastermind TODD EDWARDS invented his signature style of bouncing drums, uplifting harmonies and cut-up samples.
A style that later gave birth to a plethora of Todd-inspired producers/ disciples across the world, notably in the UK in the late 1990s. But what sealed Todd’s status as a member of House royalty was also his collaboration with Daft Punk on the track “Face To Face” from their 2001 album ‘Discovery’. Todd is actually the lead singer on “Face To Face”, and he hadn’t been featured so prominently on a track since. In our camp, SURKIN was always the big Todd Edwards admirer, he already had the opportunity to get remixed by Todd on his “Next Of Kin” single but the creation of the Crossover Series motivated us to put them in a studio and see what came out of it, with the secret ambition to get Todd to sing again on a Surkin beat.
We connected with the extremely lovable Todd in person in L.A. via our friend Mike B, then Surkin arranged a gig for him in Paris at one of his Marble nights, and next thing you know the two of them where in Surkin’s studio together working on tracks for a couple of days. At that time we could have never imagined the incredible strength and the overload of pure pop bliss that would eventually come out of that session.
Not only did Todd pick up the mic again, but on “I WANT YOU BACK”, Surkin transformed himself into the ultimate Acid R&B producer and laced him with a future milestone. As expected, Todd Edwards’ vocals about lost love are imperial, touching, timeless, sad but at the same time motivational, as pure modern Soul should be.
But let the sweaty decadent aura of basement dancefloors not be forgotten by this holy alliance! “THIS WAY” combines classic Todd Edwards joyful grainy production with Surkin’s straight-to-the-point repetitive efficiency, injecting slight doses of Techno masculinity in an otherwise bucolic, feminine, almost handbag- ish House number, creating a unique fusion of styles that will melt your little raver brain.
“MIGHTY LOVE” channels the same kind of style fusion but this time it’s the French touch heritage that quietly takes over evoking hints of Cassius and Stardust at times, as well as a certain Roulé feel, but free from redundant cheesy French touch clichés. Definitely a possible evolution of late 90s french styles in an alternate future.

dirtybird Summer EP
And we're off! Who has the lucky task of following up Justin Martin's epic Ghettos & Gardens album? It's a sampler called "dirtybird summer" celebrating the sounds and sunshine of this year's amazing summer season.
Track one of this diverse four parter is a melodic overture by the Munnibrotherz from South Africa who debuted on dirtybird last year with the hit record "Moon Chon Chayouh." Track two is a dirtybird virgin, Nick Olivetti. Some of you have probably heard me drop his track "Hectic Guitar" at some point on the road this year, it was a big part of my live sets. This new one "Jump Up" is just as deadly and even more focused on the super heavy grooves Nick is so good at producing.
Track three is a really fun db style party track by Genghis Clan. Its got the big build up and the fun vox samples but the drop is pure house music and pure summer groove. It really works, especially outdoors. Last but not least are my buddies from Bristol, Waifs & Strays who are also making a debut on dirtybird with "Lost In The Party." This is kind of like a nu-disco style track if the producers were from Bristol and grew up on filthy basslines and roast dinners. Its also got elements of Detroit techno. Simple and effective I like to say..
Enjoy,
VonStroke
