Strip Steve returns with his second single „One Thing feat. Robert Owens“, taken out from his ambitious Album „Micro Mega“, released earlier this year on Boysnoize Records.
This time he takes a deep dive into Chicago House with raw 808 and 909 percussion, warm impulsive bass and silky vocals by the one and only Robert Owens - „One Thing“ sums it up to a peerless tribute to Strip Steves love: Chicago House Music.

Alongside the original album cut, futuristic-funk hero Jimmy Edgar and BNR label mate Djedjotronic contribute their versions of the single to complete the package. Edgar goes with his mid 90s electrified revisionism of House music and warping the whole business to a pioneering future sound - his matchless style enhances the dancefloor potential for sure. Meanwhile Djedjotronic borrows Strip Steve's bold kicks and colourful synths, letting them flow into an elegant halfstepped journey, which proves Djedjotronic's beautiful raised oldschool mentality.
